Here at the Landscape Academy, we boast a team of highly qualified experts, each with years of experience working in their respective fields. Our students are at the heart of our operations, and no matter which course you are enrolled on, all of our tutors work tirelessly to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Mark Youde – Director
As our company director, Mark is the driving force behind our operations and was instrumental in the creation of the Landscape Academy. Mark is also the co-founder and …co-director of Urban Landscape Design Ltd – a leading company that offers a vast range of design and landscaping services for domestic and commercial projects. Recognising the need for proper training and development, Mark established a landscape training programme to help upskill his own staff. When word about this tutoring spread, it became clear there was a demand for comprehensive landscape training across a wide range of disciplines. Thus, the Landscape Academy was born.
Mark has a genuine passion for encouraging the next generation of landscaping professionals and he is a key contributor for the APL Apprenticeship Programme and competition. It’s this enthusiasm and experience that has seen him become one of the most highly regarded experts within the landscaping industry.
As well as being a seasoned landscaping professional, Mark is also an independent expert witness and a BALI Go Ambassador.
Lynne Taylor – Training & Business Development Manager
Lynne boasts years of experience in the commercial design and construction sector, and as a founding member of The Landscape Academy, she is instrumental to the ongoing… expansion and success of the business. She helps to shape our course curriculum and content, develops industry-relevant training and ensures standards are met and maintained.
Additionally, in January 2022, she completed the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Expert Witness Certification Course and is now a RICS-registered expert witness — the first in the landscaping sector to do so. She has a great understanding of dispute resolution, contracts and construction.
Margaret Goulding – Office Administrator
As our office administrator, Margaret is responsible for supporting our day-to-day operations here at the Landscape Academy. From coordinating administrative tasks and …managing correspondence to acting as a first point of contact for customer enquiries, Margaret helps to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Academy Accounts Department – Accounts
Our accounts department plays a key role in managing our financial operations here at the Landscape Academy. From overseeing invoicing and processing payments to assist…ing our students with any financial queries, they handle all financial matters with precision and attention to detail.
