INTRODUCTION
Enhance your skills with our dedicated refresher course. This course is for those who are already operating in industry and need to complete refresher training, as set out in the Chainsaws at Work INDG317 document.
OVERVIEW
Felling and processing trees can be a dangerous task. That’s why it’s vital to make sure you have the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to do it safely. Our refresher course will keep you up to speed with the latest techniques and safety information, as well as demonstrating that you and your employer have completed sufficient training to meet the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). This course is not suitable for novices as it doesn’t cover the wide range of skills an inexperienced operator needs to work safely.
