ENTRY REQUIREMENTS / WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Learners should be a minimum of years old and have a moderate level of fitness due to the physical nature of this programme. This course is suited to those who have some experience in the landscape industry and are looking to learn new skills, improve upon existing skills, or bring their experience in line with new industry standards.

This 2-day training programme combines theory and practical training to ensure the learner has an understanding of the installation methods required for brick wall construction.

The 2-day course combines theory and practical training to provide learners with the in-depth knowledge and skills needed to understand wall construction and bricklaying for landscaping projects.

This – day training programme combines theory and practical training to ensure the learner has a full understanding of the installation methods required. The attendee will gain:
- A comprehensive knowledge of health and safety requirements for site, working with dangerous equipment and professional and compliant working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others
- An understanding and in-depth product knowledge of various brick products and consideration for their applications
- Full understanding of how to select the correct materials to meet specifications and industry recommendations
- Full understanding of how to set out walling
- Full understanding of foundations and footings requirements for the construction of walling, including excavation, waste and sub-base construction methods
- An understanding of mortar mixes
- Full understanding of the requirements and legality of cutting brick products
- The skill to effectively install 2.5-3 metre lengths of walling with brick and block
- The skill to successfully install header course
